There is plenty of available information on the history of Reiki, so I will duplicate this here. I am trained in Dr. Usui;s methods for Reiki 1 and Reiki 2. My Master/Teacher finalized her training in Germany giving me a broader perspective with my Master/Teacher Certification.
In short: Reiki is an extremely relaxing ancient Japanese healing art. Similar to laying on of hands healing where hands may or may not touch the body, depending on the strength of the energy being drawn. It is a means by which I am a pure channel where the body of the client takes Universal and Celestial healing energy to emotionally, spiritually, and physically balance. This promotes and aides in healing at many levels. It clears out emotional clogs, etheric cords, and rids the body and aura of negativity.
Reiki balances and clears the vibrational communication between the energy and the body. The body is inside your spirit, or energy, so if ones energy is healthy, when it communicates for cell development, the cells will develop healthy. Reiki is an alternative healing method which works in unison to enhance your Physician's course of care and other alternative healing methods available. I invoke the help of guides, guardians, angels, and any higher level aware entity that wishes to help. Their celestial energy can often be felt by me and the client. Reiki continues promoting healing for a couple of weeks. It can be done for distant healing - as there are no bounds on energy, but is much more relaxing when client and Master are physically present.
For those wishing to train in this art, there is an abundance of information on the internet (some accurate, some not) - but does require a Master to attune. I teach Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 either privately or in a small group (no more than 4). For your convenience, I offer intensive training, so busy individuals can complete training in one 8 hour day for each level. Each student in attuned before training begins. If a person does not already have a healing guide, one will come in, my experience, a week or so before the attunement. I really enjoy teaching Reiki and love how each individual finds a unique niche where it is useful. Using the art of Reiki is more responsive when a person has background in developing themselves spiritually and intuitively.
Both my classes and treatments are done out of my home. I find a home office much more private and relaxing than in a commercial atmosphere. I am available for workshops. Reiki treatments and training are done at my home office location at, 1830 Heather Circle, Ammon, Idaho, 83406.
